Week 15: January 14 - The Return

The Return

The SEEDS Program will be ONLINE this week. Please click the button below to access the classes via ZOOM on Wednesday and Friday from 1:00-4:00pm.

We had a slower return than expected as we were unable to meet for The Garden last week and SEEDS only met for one day. But we were happy to see some of you and to hear from some of you too. This week’s WATER from the Well will focus on the materials you will be using next week as the SEEDS program continues in its virtual format.

Please read through carefully to see what materials you will be needing. The GARDEN group will meet onsite as usual beginning Tuesday.

THE GARDEN

Meeting this Tuesday and Thursday!

January 18 and 20

The Garden group will begin meeting in-person on Tuesday, January 18. Please remember to always fill out the weekly survey online before arriving at the Center. We look forward to seeing them all and playing and learning together.

SEEDS

The Seeds program met online this week. Some of the activities covered with learning about this month’s “name of God,” THE WAY. We also talked about Benjamin Franklin and his importance in the founding of the United States of America. In Science, the kids discussed different turtles. In both classes, drawing was used to deepen the children’s understanding of the topics.

  • SUPPLIES FOR ONLINE LEARNING

    • Student will receive some materials that will help them to participate in the online classes:

      • A bag of art supplies that includes watercolors, crayons, pipe cleaners, clay, pencils and more

      • Their binder that includes materials for worship time, their science journal, and their history student sheets and timelines
