Zoom Call
The Oaks students learned about the process of Bible translation for indigenous languages in Mexico.
Even though all the programs were on recess last week, the students did meet up on ZOOM to interview Millie Nieves, a missionary working with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mexico. the students prepared all the questions and held the interview last Thursday. Speaking with Millie was an amazing experience. It not only connected to our Geography study of North America, particularly Mexico, but also as we seek to understand the importance of sharing the gospel with the whole world, as Jesus instructed his disciples to do in the Gospel of Matthew.
We will be editing this interview and hope to post the podcast as soon as possible.
Memory Verse #6
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you”
